Life of Alsaba....

Chapter 1: Triumph

This is an urban fantasy of Alsaba, who was born and brought up in UP and has just arrived in the City of dreams, Mumbai to start her newly married life. She has stepped on to this strange new land for the first time with her anxious yet curious mind. Tearfully bidding goodbye to the old place full of memories and dreams she had now moved on to this naive place to start a new chapter in her life. While driving to the place, Alsaba peeped out of the taxi window, feeling the gush of air hitting her face. There rushed thousands of queries in her mind asking, "How absurd is this law? Why is it this way? Why does the girl have to leave her house on getting married? If this happens, then why does it happen? Who made this rule? Now she has to spend her whole life with her husband in a completely new place. Thinking about all this, she was constantly gazing outside. It was raining heavily. Looking at the muddled face of Alsaba constantly glancing out with curiosity in her eyes the taxi driver asked her,''Is your first visit to Bombay? Where are you from?''

'' Yes, from Johanpur, UP ", Alsaba replied.

7 Experiences You Can Have Only During the Monsoon in Mumbai ...

Amidst this conversation, her eyes were stunned to discover this enormous lane which could easily catch anyone's heart - the Marines! The raging sea with a perfect storm into the thin air together made it a divine bliss. Driving beside the never-ending sides of Marine drive, Alsaba glanced outside the window and exclaimed," What an amazing site, thousands of people at this place!! Is something special out there? Or are these numbers of people are usual visitors? Looking at the attires of some people- jogging, walking casually, sitting and chatting, eating chaat she asked Who are these people? Why have they gathered in huge numbers today? to which the driver replied

She wondered many of them must have come here to feel the open-air!

Cars buried, water-logging at several places as heavy showers lash ...

While having all these thoughts her Husband Rahman asked her, " Are you comfortable? That bridge you see is the Bandra Worli sea link. It is one of the most beautiful sights of Bombay, I 'll take you there sometimes when we visit this place again." She nodded " yes, sure, I would love to".
After that, she again continued to glue her eyes out there and she came across a few couples enjoying bhutta
in the rains holding a rainbow colour umbrella in their hands. Suddenly her attention draws towards a man riding a bicycle with a basket of dabbas hanging on bicycle carrier. She asked her husband, “Who is this person cycling...the one with a white kurta and the traditional cap over his head?’’ She was captivated hearing the concept of dabbawala from her husband. She was a crazy fan of Bollywood." I want to see the Shahrukh khan's "Mannat" she asked curiously to her husband Rahman. " Next time for sure", he replied. She smiled and imagined a virtual scene of visiting "Mannat" in her way, she also reached inside the house and dreamt of having a chat with Shahrukh!

Although she was having such dreamy thoughts pouring in her mind she also knew the ground reality. She was satisfied with the fact that yes, the day will come when it happens.

The taxicabs at that point stop at a signal ...

The downpour had no signs of halting...at that point, Alsaba’s catch sight at the youngsters playing in the rain...looking at them, she took the moment to finally sink in the purpose of her profound and genuine mind….

She remembered those days when she used to play in their the rains;
she was obsessed with the high waves of the sea... Suddenly the radio tunes,"Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho!"
this melody begins humming, his song was heard for the first time at Khalajan residence…. Alsaba dived into the moment reliving her childhood days in her mind.

She wondered, if these rains were trying to express something to her, its demeanour has changed a bit...But she realises, nothing can stand here, and this ocean can sink in all the secrets within and can dissolve anything it wants. She speaks to the nature around here and dives into her curious mind.

Bombay, take this infantile young lady in your arms and give me the zeal to do fulfil my dreams!!!!
